To Whom It May Concern:
“Professional Skills with a family feeling,” is how I would describe my experience with Angels on Call. This combination makes Angels on Call the best home health care agency I have ever used. And I have experienced many others while helping members of my family.
The RN’s, LPN’s, and CNA’s working for Angels on Call are all excellent, and some extraordinary, in their professionalism, reliability, and courtesy. My very ill husband was treated with kindness and dignity no matter how difficult the situation while I was given more than a little TLC when I needed it most.
I was also impressed with the hands-on way Pamela Fitzpatrick manages her agency: she knows the people she employs, many of them over a period of years. This guided her in sending just the right nurses to suit my husband’s needs. Mrs. Fitzpatrick and her administrative staff are available 24/7. I vividly remember a lengthy problem-solving conversation held on a Saturday night at 9 PM. In addition, Mrs. Fitzpatrick’s experience as an RN helps her get into the picture instantly when medical situations arise or doctors need to be consulted.
Angels on Call is an agency I recommend over and over because I know the expert care they provide.
Dear Ms. Fitzpatrick,
Please accept this letter of appreciation from our family for the excellent services that your agency provided for our father during his time at the Plaza at Clover Lake. The services that you provided enabled him to remain independent and safe for much longer than he would have been able to under the circumstances.
All of your staff, including Tia, Joan, and George treated him with great respect and kindness. As you know, he grew very fond of them and each in their own way, enriched his life and made his days more enjoyable. They are all very special people and their dedication to their profession is exhibited in the services they provide on a daily basis.
Thank you once again for sending us your “angles” when we called.
I want to thank you for your help with my back wound. Angels on Call was a great find for me.
Ellen Kase was wonderful, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely nice! She also had good tips on how to speed the healing and what to expect. She is truly a wound care expert and I appreciate your arranging for her to make the visits when I needed to get to work early or when my regular nurse from VNA of Hudson Valley was not available. Ellen always made the effort to accommodate my schedule and it was reassuring to have her there.
Please tell Ellen how much I appreciated her help (and expertise) over the past weeks.
I am writing to commend your outstanding employee Vivian. Vivan was my mother Nancy’s aide at Kendal-on-Hudson for approximately two years. During that time Vivian was the most professional and compassionate caregiver our family has ever encountered. Her dedication and attention to every detail of my mother’s wellbeing was inspiring for all who knew her. Caring for someone with dementia is a stressful and often frustrating job. The high level of nursing skill my mother received from Vivian was the reason she lived as long as she did, and in comfort right to the end. We cannot thank Vivian enough for the compassion and professionalism she gave to her.
Vivian communicated with me regularly regarding my mother’s health and care, socialized with us and made my mother’s last days comfortable and comforting. She supported me in the logistics and care of my mother and was a great and wise counsel. Vivian also supported me and my sister and son at the death of my mother, and this act of love will be cherished by me forever. Always appropriate and professional, Vivian’s kind and lovely ways are an example for all.
I am going to miss her kindness and friendship greatly. I wanted to share with you my impressions of this wonderful and special person. Vivian is truly God’s Angel on earth.
I would like to compliment Pam Fitzpatrick and her agency, Angels on Call Homecare.
They have provided excellent care, for my husband, who is totally disabled, for over seven years.
It is my wish for my husband to continue living in our home and to be cared for at home. The compassionate and skilled home health aides, nurses, and caring office staff of Angels on Call, have made this possible. I am very grateful.
Everyone who loved Norman Shiren found the story of the day he dies, very comforting.
Sunday July 30th, we sat down in the Bistro, Pam Fitzpatrick, the owner of Angels on Call, joined us for lunch. Norman loved Pam, he loved her Irish accent and her stories about her family in Ireland. We laughed a lot together too.
After lunch, on his way out, Norman bumped into his favorite friend, Frank Neuwirth, and they joked and laughed about something. That was about 1 o’clock, and Norman died at 4 o’clock that afternoon, while taking his nap.
I tell far off friends who ask about Normans death, those details and Pam is now famous across the world in places like Thunder Bay, Canada, Friedenstrasse, Germany, and Israel.
