About the Classroom and Clinical Lab Facility

The PCATP maintains a formal classroom for educational instruction and presentation of curricular content. Our state-of-the-art clinical laboratory is filled with equipment and supplies that enable our Nurse Educators and students to adequately demonstrate clinical skills and competency. Our clinical laboratory consists of but is not limited to tables/desks, a mock kitchen, audiovisual equipment, a full bathroom with shower, a hospital bed, oxygen machines, hydraulic lifts, gait belts, wheelchairs, walkers, catheters, bed pans or commodes, prosthetics, a realistic doll for care demonstration, slide board, urinary drainage bags, dentures and denture cups, and more.

Day One: 8:30 AM — 5:20 PM

Day Two: 8:30 AM — 5:30 PM

Day Three: 8:30 AM — 5:20 PM

Day Four: 8:30 AM — 5:25 PM

Day Five: 8:30 AM — 7:00 PM

Assessments and Opportunity with Angels on Call

To demonstrate their understanding and proficiency in the course material, trainees will be evaluated through a combination of written and oral assessments. In order to pass the written exams, trainees must achieve a minimum score of 80%. Upon successful completion of the training program, all students will receive a guaranteed position with our licensed home care service agency at Angels on Call, providing them with valuable hands-on experience in the field. This opportunity serves as a testament to the high-quality training and preparation provided to our trainees and showcases their readiness to excel in the healthcare industry.
